It is with loving thoughts and sad hearts that we say our goodbyes to Thomas (Tom) Francis Walsh, who resided in Pasadena, NL, and born in Red Island, NL. Tom passed away peacefully at the Western Memorial Regional Hospital in Corner Brook, on Saturday, Aug. 24th, 2019, at the age of 85 years. He was a very strong man with a pure heart that felt life was “Wonderful” and “Excellent”.
He leaves behind his loving wife of 65 years; Agnes (nee Wall); children; Terry (Rita), Chester (Irene), Eddy (Susan), Sandy (Garry), Cynthia, & Dean (Tracey); grandchildren; Martin, Jodi Ann, Dee, Rainbo, Nikki, Thomas, Robyn, Ashley, Alyson, Geoffrey, Trevor, Alyssa, Danielle, and Kurtis and 11 great grandchildren: Tom also leaves behind his brother, Paul (Catherine) and sister/brother in-laws, Adinia, George, Gilbert, Pat, Pauline, Joseph, Tom, Joyce, Ted, and Dianne. Predeceased are his parents; Patrick & Elizabeth Walsh; Father and Mother In-law; Patrick and Ita Wall; his siblings Jim, Bride, Jerry, Bill, and brother in-law; Bill.
Friends and family may visit Holy Rosary Parish in Pasadena on Wednesday, August 28th, from the hours of 2-4 and 7-9 pm. A Mass will be held with Father Patry officiating on Friday, Aug 30th, 2019. Interment to follow at the Old Roman Catholic Cemetery in Pasadena.
As expressions of sympathy, flowers will be graciously accepted or a donation to a charity of your choice.
The family wishes to gratefully thank the doctors, nurses and caregivers who supported Tom through his life’s battles.
