Stephen Craig Gillam
1991-2019
It is with heavy hearts that the family of Stephen Gillam
announces his sudden passing on August 8, 2019. He was born in
Fredericton, NB, on February 14, 1991.
Stephen leaves to mourn his beloved fiancée,
Chantelle Tibbets; cherished sister, Gale Gillam (Matt); grandparents,
Pius and Cecilia Gale and Rita Gillam; his nieces, Aleigha, Carly,
Maddison, Kaleigh, Sierra, Summer and Bella and nephews, Ryan and
William, who will fondly remember their uncle Stevon/Poohy. Stephen
also leaves behind his mother-in-law and father-in-law, Elaine and
Billy Tibbets; many aunts, uncles and cousins; and greatly missed by
his fur companion, Gus. Stephen was predeceased by his parents, Sgt.
Craig and Maureen Gillam; uncle Joe and aunt Mary
Gillam.
Stephen had a passion for his work. He loved driving his tow
truck, most recently with Campbell’s Towing in Woodstock,
NB, and also with Capital Towing in Fredericton.
A Celebration of Life will be held from Oromocto Funeral
Home, 108 Winnebago Street, on Wednesday, August 14, 2019 from 7:00
– 9:00 pm. Words of remembrance will begin at 8:00 pm. A
Memorial Mass and interment will take place in South Branch,
Newfoundland, at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations in
Stephen’s memory can be made to the Sgt.Craig Gillam
Memorial Scholarship Fund held at the Codroy Valley Credit Union in
Doyle’s, Newfoundland.
