James “Sonny” Alexander Thompson, of Mount Forest, passed away at the Louise Marshall Hospital, Mount Forest on Friday, August 30th, 2019 in his 86th year. Beloved husband of Kerren Thompson (nee Gough). Loving father of Cheryl Ann and her husband Steven Singer, and Suzanna and her husband Charles Black. Cherished grandfather of 6 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren. Predeceased by siblings Jean Elizabeth Webber, Joseph Jeffrey Thompson, Mary Marie Forbes and Jessie Eleanor Sedore. Cremation has taken place. A private family service will be held. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to Cancer Patient Services or the Louise Marshall Hospital Foundation would be appreciated by the family. Arrangements entrusted to the England Funeral Home, Mount Forest.
