Ruby McGrath

It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of our Mother, Grandmother and Great Grandmother, Ruby Marie McGrath. Predeceased by her husband Gordon McGrath; parents David and Elsie Rose; and brother David Rose. Leaving to mourn with a lifetime of cherished memories are sons Roger (Carolyn) and Gary; daughters Laurie (Wayne-deceased) and Vickie (Brian-deceased); sister-in-law Bette Hartery; grandchildren: Ryan (Marie), Courtney (Josh), Justin (Angela), Mark (Nilesh), Caitlin (Andrew), Colleen, Cullen, Kayla (Cory) and Aislinn; and great-grandchildren: Lennox, Mia, Kylie, Desmond, Lincoln, Declan and Connor. She will be missed especially by her life long friends, the ‘Golden Girls’ along with Shirl Winslow. Thank you to the staff and new friends at Meadow Creek Retirement Centre for their loving care during her brief stay. Thanks to the staff on 4 West at St. Clare’s Hospital for their outstanding care. Cremation has taken place at Ruby’s request. Visitation will be Monday, August 26, 2019 at Caul’s Funeral Home, LeMarchant Road from 12pm to 9pm. Funeral service will be held in Caul’s Chapel on Tuesday, August 27, 2019 at 1pm with inurnment to follow for both Ruby and Gordon at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Heart and Stroke Foundation.
