Woods, Richard Wayne – It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Rick “Woody” Woods at Ottawa Civic Hospital on August 4, 2019 in his 64th year. He is survived by his loving wife of 44 years Mary “Pic” (nee Blakely), his three sons whom he was so proud of Ryan (Vicki), Blake (Holly) and Dustin (Candice) and the grandbabies he adored Kamryn, Ryleigh, Ronan, Zayden, Ethan and Owen. Fondly remembered by his mother Doreen, his brothers and sisters, nieces and nephews and many other family and friends. Woody was on the HBM Fire Department for 20 years and worked 22 years for the HBM Roads Department doing what he loved, plowing, operating heavy equipment and grading the roads. A celebration of Woody’s life will be held at the HAVELOCK ARENA Lion’s Hall, 39 George Street East on Saturday, August 24th, 2019 from 1-4 pm.
