The death of Pauline Elizabeth “Collette” Ramsay, wife of the late Burton Ramsay of Mount Saint Joseph Nursing Home and formerly of Newcastle, NB, occurred on Monday, August 5, 2019 at the age of 84. Born in Matthew Settlement, NB, she was the daughter of the late Edward and Leva (Somers) Tozer. Pauline was a former employee of the Town of Newcastle.
Pauline is survived by: two daughters: Lois Madsen (Jan) of Newcastle, NB; Marla Parks (Robert) of Wayerton, NB; two sons: Tony of Chatham, NB; Terry (Shelley Mountain) of Newcastle, NB; two sisters: Margie Tozer (Lynn) of Newcastle, NB; Debbie Stewart (Bev) of Halcomb, NB; one brother: Carl (Marie) of Surrey, BC; one brother in law: Ted Nickerson of Florida; seven grandchildren: Paige, Kayla, Annica, Melodee, Evan, Buddy and Derek; four great grandchildren: Ronni, Ryker, Adelyn and Rhea; several nieces and nephews.
Besides her parents: Pauline is predeceased by: 1st husband: Ronald Collette; 2nd husband: Burton Ramsay; infant daughter: Paula; brother: Eddie; infant brother: Roland and sister: Janice Nickerson
The family will receive visitors at Bell’s Funeral Home on Thursday, August 8, 2019 from 4-8 PM. The Funeral Service will be held from the Sterling Bell Memorial Chapel on Friday, August 9, 2019 at 11 AM with Rev. Charlene Maguire MacKnight officiating. Burial will take place in the Little Southwest Baptist Church Cemetery, Sillikers, NB.
In Pauline’s memory, donations may be made to the Miramichi SPCA.
