Obituary for Paul Allan Lynch
LYNCH, PAUL ALLAN passed away peacefully at Michael Garron Hospital with family by his side on August 5, 2019. Paul was born on December 19, 1952 in Toronto, Ontario.
Predeceased by his father, George Allan Foster Lynch of Antigua and Barbuda, his mother, Mildred Catherine Lynch (nee James) of Halifax, Nova Scotia, and sister, Edris Lynch of Antigua and Barbuda. Paul is survived by his sister, Andria Waithe (nee Lynch) of Toronto, ON, and his brother, Leith Lynch (Brenda) of Nanaimo, British Columbia. Paul was a loving Uncle to numerous nieces and nephews.
Over the years, Paul was very active within the non-profit community of Toronto, volunteering his time at the Boys and Girls Club of Regent Park and the United Way. Paul was a long-standing employee at the City of Toronto where he worked as a heavy equipment operator. He was also passionate about Canadian-Cuban relations, and spent much of his later life volunteering with the Canadian-Cuban Friendship Association of Toronto.
Paul will be greatly missed by his family, friends, neighbours of Hastings Ave, and former colleagues. A Celebration of Life for Paul will be announced at a later date.
