McLAUGHLIN, Pauline Phyllis (nee Wass) – Age 83 of Corunna, passed away Monday, August 5, 2019 at St. Joseph’s Hospice, Sarnia. Beloved wife of the late Ivan Roy McLaughlin (1990). Loving mother and family matriarch of Terry (Laurie) McLaughlin, Ronnie (Dawn) McLaughlin, Murray (Eileen) McLaughlin, Audrey (Ron) Jeffrey, Valerie (Tim) Ott, Raymond McLaughlin, Rita (Steve) Glowa. Cherished grandmother of Cara, Steven, Shane, Ronny Lynn, Lindsay, Shauna, Raymond, Spike (Ray Jr., 2018), Emma, Steven (Buddy) and many loved great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. Survived by her sister Mary Hart and nephew Allan Wass. Predeceased by her parents Howard and Thelmas Wass, sisters Lillian (Ken) Terryberry, Evelyn (Don) Bellaire and brother-in-law Robert Hart. Pauline was an avid gardener, world traveller, loved to solve crosswords and voracious reader. She was a strong supporter of Corunna Operation Christmas Tree, Salvation Army Christmas Kettle Volunteer and a Corunna Legion Branch 447 volunteer. The family of Pauline wish to extend a sincere thank-you to St. Joseph’s Hospice, Dr. Greensmith, Bluewater Health – Palliative Care, nurses and volunteers for the care they provided.
Visitation
Family and friends will be received at STEADMAN BROTHERS FUNERAL CHAPELS, Brigden on Thursday, August 8, 2019 from 3:00 to 6:00 pm.
Funeral Details
Funeral service will be held on Friday, August 9, 2019 at 11:00am from the funeral home. Interment to follow at Moore Union Cemetery, Mooretown.

Sympathy may be expressed through donations to Operation Christmas Tree or Canadian Cancer Society.
