HALL, Mary Janice
After a long and courageous battle with cancer, Mary passed away peacefully surrounded by her family at Joseph Brant Hospital, on Thursday, August 29, 2019, at the age of 69. Beloved wife of Kevin for 37 years. Loving mother of Karen Gravelle and Greta Heathcote (Scott) and step-mother of Chris Hall (Laura Hamilton). Proud Babcia of Mary Beatrix, Callum and Duncan. Sister of John Nosal and Donna Gereben (George). Mary will also be missed by her step-mother Rose Nosal. Predeceased by her parents Ted and Mary Nosal. Mary will be missed by her extended family and friends. Mary was a teacher with the Hamilton-Wentworth Catholic District School Board for 33 years. She will be remembered for her strength, beautiful personality, and love of life. A special thank you to Dr.Craigie and Dr.Whitton for their care and support at the Juravinski Cancer Centre.
Visitation at SMITH’S FUNERAL HOME, 1167 Guelph Line (one stop light north of QEW), BURLINGTON (905-632-3333), on Tuesday, September 3, 2019 from 3-5 and 7-9. A Funeral Mass will be held at St. Paul’s Roman Catholic Church on Wednesday, September 4, 2019 at 10:30am. Interment at Gate of Heaven Cemetery. For those who wish, donations in memory of Mary to the Canadian Cancer Society would be sincerely appreciated by the family.
