Obituary of Maria Janzen
Janzen, Maria – Peacefully, with family by her side, at Heritage Place, Virgil on Monday, August 26, 2019, Maria Janzen, aged 95 years. Wife of the late Henry (2010) and loving mother of Hedy Regier, Margaret Janzen, Werner and Linda, Wally and Melanie. Loved grandma of Melanie (Andrew), Caitlin and Joshua. Great grandma of Nathan, Leah, Caleb and Ryder. Sister of Walter Ens (deceased Loreen) and John (Ruth) Ens and sister-in-law to Jutti Ens.. Predeceased by brothers Abram (deceased Galja) Ens and Henry Ens and sister Margaret Naumann.
The family will receive friends at Cornerstone Community Church, 1570 Niagara Stone Rd. Virgil, on Thursday, August 29 from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. Funeral Service in the church Friday at 11:00 a.m. with interment following at Niagara Lake Shore Cemetery. If desired, memorial donations to Radiant Care Pleasant Manor or Gideon Bibles would be appreciated.
A special thank-you to all Heritage Place staff for their excellent, loving, compassionate care during Mom’s stay in convalesence and long-term care. Thank-you also to all the supportive housing staff for their great care for over 10 years as well as the Palliative Care Team during Mom’s last months in her home.
