Margaret Laracy
1960-2019
Marg passed away unexpectedly at home at the age of 58. Beloved
partner of Keith for 17 years. Cherished mother of Lyndsi (Megan) and
Matthew. Proud grandmother Baylee. Marg will also be deeply missed
by her mother Shirley Welsh; her siblings Karen (Jim), Nancy (Dean)
and David; her mother-in-law Elsie Vokey; brothers-in-law Larry
(Grace) and Lawrence (Sue), sister-in-law Tracey (Glen) as well as her
numerous nephews, cousins, extended family and friends.
Marg was born and lived in Cambridge all of her life, never wanting to
leave her hometown. During the last five years of her life, she has
battled cancer twice like a “tiger” with a fight to the
end. Even in pain she didn’t complain. May she finally be at
peace.
To all the family and friends who were able to come on such short
notice so they could say goodbye, we the family thank you. We are
sure she was smiling down on us all. Marg shall be deeply missed and
loved by all. May our angel spread her wings.
Visitation and cremation have already taken place. As an expression
of sympathy, donations made to the Canadian Cancer Society, would be
greatly appreciated by the family.
