Peacefully, with family by her side at Grey Bruce Health Services, Owen Sound on Thursday, August 15, 2019 in her 79th year. Marg, loving wife and best friend of the late Elgin Buckton. Beloved partner of Barrie Youngblut. Beloved Mom of Ruth Buckton, Barry and his wife Helen, Jean Buckton, the late Barb and her husband Larry Boddy, and Tim and his wife Carolyn. Proud Grandma of Niki (Bob), Hailey (Justin), Josh, Jason, Jenny (Jon), Whitney, Margaret, Betty-Jo (Andy), Ben, Heidi, Randi (Joe), and Alex. Great Grandma of nine. Predeceased by her brothers Ivan Scott and Charlie Scott.
Friends will be received on Sunday, August 18, 2019 from 7-9pm at the Breckenridge-Ashcroft Funeral Home, 241 9th Street West, Owen Sound, 519-376-2326. A Royal Canadian Legion Ladies Auxiliary Service will be held just before visiting at 6:45pm. A funeral service will be held in the chapel on Monday, August 19, 2019 at 11:00am. Interment Mount Pleasant Cemetery.
