The family announces with great sorrow his passing in Sudbury, Thursday, August 8th, 2019 at the age of 81 years. Beloved husband of Yvette Charette (née Desormeaux). Son of the late Edmond and the late Blanch (née Jean) Charette. Loving father of Liz (David) Herd and Guy (Marie-Claude) Charette. Dear brother of Yvette Tarnopolsky. Predeceased by his brothers Florand, Roland and Fernand. Cherished grandfather of Jennifer, Matthieu, Marc, Sophie and Simon. Predeceased by his grandson Josh. Laurier will also be missed by many nieces, nephews, family and friends. The family would like to thank the doctors and staff on the 4th floor at Health Sciences North and a special thank you to his Brother Knights. The family will receive friends and relatives Thursday, August 15th, 2019 at the COOPERATIVE FUNERAL HOME, 222 Lasalle BLVD, Sudbury, ON. from 2-5p.m. and 7-9:30p.m. A funeral mass to take place on Friday August 16th, 2019 at 10a.m. at Ste-Marguerite d’Youville Church, Val Thérese. A mass made in Laurier’s memory or donations made to St-Vincent de Paul, Val Caron would be greatly appreciated.
