Joyce’s Obituary
It is with great sadness that the family of the late Joyce Alvina Wiseman announce her passing at the Palliative Unit W.M.R Hospital on Friday August 16th, 2019 at the age of 76 years after a short battle with cancer. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories her two daughters: Susan Cadwell (Lyndon), Rosilyn Leonard (Stephen); her grandchildren: Gregory (Skyla), Andrew, Aaron and Aiden; her two sisters: Alice Tavenor and Irene Taylor; and her sister in law: Rowena Wiseman also leaving to mourn are a large circle of nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends. Joyce is predeceased by her husband: Herbert Kenneth Wiseman; her children: Katherine and Bruce; and her parents: Fred and Beatrice Lewis. The family wishes to send a sincere thank you to the first floor ALC unit and to the doctors and nurses of the Palliative Care Unit. Visitation for family and friends will take place at Country Haven Funeral Home, 167 Country Road, on Sunday, August 18, 2019 from 7-9pm and Monday, August 19, 2019 from the hours of 2-4 and 7-9. The Funeral Service will take place at the Salvation Army Temple, O’Connell Drive on Tuesday August 20th, 2019 at 2:00 pm with Major Frank Johnson Officiating, Interment to follow at Mount Patricia Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy, flowers are graciously accepted, or donations can be made to a charity of one’s choice.
