The Lord in His time called home His dearly beloved child, Jane Denbok, on August 10, 2019 at the age of 93. Beloved wife of Hendrik “Henry” Denbok (1991). Beloved Oma to many great-grandchildren. Dear sister-in-law to Gerry and Paulina Denbok, Eve Baartse, Flora Denbok, and Riek Oskam. Beloved aunt to many nieces and nephews both in Canada and the Netherlands. Treasured friend to scores including many in her last earthly home, Evergreen Terrace.
She died in the full assurance of faith, confessing often, «In Christ alone my hope is found, He is my light, my strength, my song.» Mom loved flowers but also had a heart for those in need, giving generously from what the Lord had given her. If so desired, memorial gifts to Adoration Christian Centre in Haiti or McNally House Hospice in Grimsby would be appreciated. Special thanks to her wonderful morning Caregivers of these past years and to both the Palliative care team and McNally House Hospice staff and volunteers for their exceptional and compassionate care of Mom in the final weeks of her earthly sojourn.
Friends may visit with the family at MOUNTAINVIEW CHRISTIAN REFORMED CHURCH, 290 Main St. E., Grimsby on Tuesday from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m., where the Memorial Service will be held on Wednesday, August 14, 2019 at 11 a.m., Rev.
