Passed away peacefully with family by her side on Wednesday, August 28, 2019 one day after her 85th birthday.
Beloved wife of the late Manuel Rui Paiva (2015). Loving mother of Joe (Rosemary) and Roy. Cherished grandmother of Vanessa (Justin), Michael (Melissa), Nicole (Mike) and great-grandmother of Lauren and Luke. Dear sister of Helena and the late Alfredo and Adelaide. Survived by many nieces and nephews. Idalia’s family will receive relatives and friends from 2-2:45 p.m on Saturday, August 31, 2019 at the Henry Walser Funeral Home, 507 Frederick Street, Kitchener, 519-749-8467. A Funeral Liturgy will be held in the chapel of the funeral home on Saturday at 3 p.m. Fr. Rafal Tomon officiating. Interment Woodland Cemetery.
