MOORE, Helena (Helen) Mary (née Lehman) – Mrs. Helen Moore passed away peacefully with her family by her side at The Elliott Community in Guelph on Sunday, August 11, 2019, just a few days short of her 98th year. Beloved wife of the late Edward N. Moore (1990). Dear mother of Rose-Marie Broughton of British Columbia, Larry and his wife Brenda-Louise of Fergus, Paul and his wife Mimma and Sharon and her husband Patrick, all of Guelph. Cherished grandmother of Darlene, Darryl, Amanda, Kyle, Michelle, Melissa, Jennifer and Stephanie and great-grandmother of 17.
Special thanks to Dr. David Hood. We feel so blessed that our Mother was in your loving care throughout the years and that you were able to be with her and us during her passing. Words cannot express our appreciation for the care and compassion you gave her. We all think of you as a member of our family. We thank you for making this last memory of her one of dignity and grace. We would also like to thank CCAC for the care given over the years and to the staff of The Elliott Community, especially Claire and Julius.
Resting at the Gilbert MacIntyre and Son Funeral Home, Hart Chapel, 1099 Gordon Street, Guelph on Thursday, August 15, 2019 from 2-4 and 7-9p.m. A vigil for Helen will take place at 8:30p.m. Catholic Women’s League prayers at 3p.m. The funeral mass will be held at St. Joseph’s Church, 409 Paisley Road, Guelph on Friday, August 16, 2019 at 10a.m. Interment at Marymount Cemetery, Guelph.
