1943-2019
The family announces with great sorrow his passing at the Health Sciences North Hospital in Sudbury on Tuesday, July 30, 2019 at the age of 76 years. Beloved husband of Helen McLeod (Nee Grant). Loving father of Cheryl (Paul) Secord of Gogama, Darren (Lourissa) McLeod of Gogama and Jason Mc Leod of Timmins. Cherished grandfather of Amanda (Kevin), Shannon (Allan) and Nicholas, and great grandfather of Nathan, Cameron, Jax and Mila. He is predeceased by his parents John McLeod and Mary Restoule. Poppa was an avid outdoorsman who loved hunting and fishing. He was a great family man and he was loved by his community, he will be sadly missed by all. A celebration of life will be held on August 31, 2019 at 11 a.m. at the Mattagami First Nation Complex. Remembrance donations to Northern Cancer Foundation would be greatly appreciated.
