It is with great sadness that the family of Ewald Gollan announce his passing on August 13, 2019. Ewald will be lovingly remembered by his wife Veronica. Proud Father of Helen(Duane) and Martin(Lisa). Adoring grandfather of Theron, Sarah, Alexandria, and Elizabeth. Loving brother of Hilde Dollak and Uncle to his nieces and nephews in Canada and Germany. Ewald came to Canada from Germany in the mid-fifties. He worked as a Mechanic in Hamilton for many years. He enjoyed his life through sports, coaching, and card games. His passion was his family and spending time with them. Visitation will be held at P.X. DERMODY FUNERAL HOME, 796 Upper Gage Ave. (Between Mohawk and Fennell) on Friday August 16, 2019 from 3-4 p.m. A Funeral Service will follow in the Funeral Home Chapel at 4 p.m. Cremation to follow.
