Obituary of Clifford Aikens
It is with sadness the family of Clifford Aikens announce his passing on August 9, 2019. Clifford graduated from Central Butte High School, Moose Jaw Normal School, University of Saskatchewan and the RCAF Staff College. During WW II, he flew with RAF Coastal Command. After the war, he served for more than 22 years with the RCAF and CAF. After retirement from the military, he worked at the Saskatchewan Technical Institute as an Instructor and Administrator. He was predeceased by his parents Lorne and Gladys Aikens; daughter Aletha Raby; son-in-law Normand Raby; wife Mary; grandson Christopher; brothers Elgin «Lorne» and Glenn and sister Nora Meek. Clifford will be sadly missed by his daughter Glenda; son Donald (Taleathahh); grandson Peter Raby and sister Joyce Jennings. There will be no funeral. A Private Memorial Service will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to the Salvation Army. In living memory of Clifford, a memorial tree planting will be made by Jones-Parkview Funeral Services.
