Bowman John (Bill) Burrell
1926 – 2019
Bill passed away in the Olds Hospital on Friday, August 9, 2019 at the age of 92. He was born at Cochrane, Alberta on August 20, 1926 to Bowman and Gladys Burrell and raised on their farm at Water Valley, Alberta. Bill was the third child of six. Edith, and Mildred were older, and Stanley, Charles, and Doris were younger. Bill married Delphine White on June 10th, 1946. They had three children: Bowman Kenneth born 1947; William (Bill) Allan born 1950; and Rhonda Lynn born 1957. Bill and Delphine started raising their family in Sundre moving to the farm in 1960. Bill was predeceased by his wife Delphine in 2006; sister Mildred in 1966; brother Stanley in 1970; son Bill in 2003; sister Edith in 2016; and brother Charles in 2018. Bill is survived by his son Ken (Brenda); daughter Rhonda (Randy); and grandchildren Steven, Lynnette, Jennifer, Corinna, Michelle, Robin, Darcy and their families.
