Alice Maude Stewart
March 27, 1924 – August 3, 2019
It is with sadness we announce the passing of our mum, gramma, great gramma, sister, aunt and friend on August 3rd at the young age of 95. Predeceased by the love of her life Charlie, and daughter Kimberley. Loved mum of Clyde & Helen, Karen & Terry, Dale & Ed, Cheryl, Terry & Cathryn, Marli & Ken (predeceased) & Neil. Gramma will be missed by her 17 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren. Alice was the oldest of a large, close knit, down east family.
This thought from one of her grandchildren sums up our feelings about a special woman. «Sometimes, when we all get together I look around at everyone and think how many of us would not be here if it were not for you….not to mention all the other people who have been absorbed into your family. It’s an amazing thing to have created and a hell of a lot of loaves of bread to make!»
