William «Billy»
Charles Collins, age 67, of Amherst, NS, formally of
Maccan, passed away on July 4, 2019 at Gables Lodge, Amherst,
NS.
Born in Maccan, on May 9, 1952, he was a
son of the late Charles and Dorothy (Spicer) Collins.
He enjoyed hunting and fishing, playing
cards and visiting family and friends.
Billy is survived by sisters Audrey
Richards, Amherst, Muriel Farrer, Sackville, NB and Gail Roberts,
Riverview, NB; many nieces and nephews, cousins and long time friends
Eddie Doucette, Brian Carter, and Terry Hoeg.
He is predeceased by brothers Eddie
Collins, Herb Collins, Archie Collins and Peter Spicer; sisters
Katherine (Kate) Bristol and Evelyn Rhindress; nephews James
«Jimmy» Collins and Herb Jr. Collins; niece Rose Emma
Collins and great nephew Matthew Collins.
Arrangements are under the care and
guidance of the Jones Family Funeral
Centre, 70 Church St., Amherst, NS (902-667-8777) where
visiting hours will be held on Tuesday, July 9, 2019 from Noon until 2
pm, followed immediately by his funeral service at 2 pm, Life
Celebrant Scott Balser officiating. Following a reception,
burial will take place in the Maccan Cemetery.

contributions may be made to the Lung Association, or the charity of
your choice.
