Verna Julia Pennell – July 24, 1931 – July 10, 2019, Belmont, Colchester Co.
It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Verna at the age of 87. Verna was the daughter of the late Arthur and Alberta Pennell of Carmanville, NFLD. Verna is survived and will be greatly missed by her children, Linda Woodward (Marty), Trudy Moore, Faye Pennell; grandchildren, Steven Pennell, Kevin Woodward (Beth), Karen Stanley (Nick); great grandchildren, Dylan , Alyson and Morgan; son in law, Timm Smith. Along with her parents, she was predeceased by her loving husband, Oswald; three sons, Eric, Calvin and Ed; son in law, Bob Moore; sister, Lulu; brother, Ches. Cremation has taken place under the care and direction of Colchester Community Funeral Home, 512 Willow St., Truro. There will be no visitation or funeral service by request.
