Stuart Wood
1948-2019
Stuart Wood of Riverview, NB passed away at The Moncton
Hospital on Sunday, July 28, 2019. Born in Drummondville,
QC; he was a son of the late Walter and Audrey (Drayton)
Wood.
Stuart spent most of his life living and working in North
Devon, UK, running his business Woody’s Restaurant in
Woolacombe and Barnstaple. He had a passion for rallying and
was never happier than when in a car. He was an active and
long-time participant of the North Devon Motor Club. His
participation as a competitor or a course organizer took Stuart to
many parts of the world, including remote locations in South America,
Asia and Europe.
Survived by his wife Inge (Driessen) Wood; daughter, Grace
Wood of Riverview, NB; sons, Richard (Cassie) of Hillsborough, NB,
Gary (Jess) of Tenerife, Spain, Michael (Paula) of Barnstaple, UK and
Arthur Wood of Riverview, NB; sisters, Dawn Woodard (Arthur) of
Haines, AK, Kathy Merrill of Riverview, NB; brothers, David Wood
(Sylvia) of Montréal-West, QC, Arthur Wood (Janine) of
Rothesay, NB; grand-children Imogen, Liam, Connor, Pablo, Dexter, and
Daniel; nieces and great-nieces, Lisa, Jane, Andrea, Sabrina,
Kirstyn, Alexie, Cat, and Emily; nephew, Darcy; and his first wife
Jean Wood of Mazarron, Spain and numerous cousins and
friends.

& Riverview Funeral Home 214 Pine Glen Rd. Riverview, NB (506)
857-9544 where visitation will be held on Thursday, August 01, 2019
from 2-4pm and 6-8pm.
A Funeral service will be held at Tuttle Brothers
& Riverview Funeral Home Memorial Chapel on Friday, August 02,
2019 at 11:00 am with Rev. David Ecclestone
officiating.
Interment will be in Alderwood
Cemetery.
