FAVOR, Stephen – It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Stephen Favor after a courageous battle, on July 24, 2019, with his family by his side. Beloved husband and best friend of Nancy Veinish. Cherished father and father-in-law of Kimberly Favor and Jonathan Schonfeld and Stacey and Bradley Diamond. Adored Zay of Eric, Jacob, Serena, Sadie, and Charlie. Devoted son of the late Irwin and Sylvia Favor and stepson of the late John Favor. Son-in-law of the late Sydney Veinish and the late Alice Berger. Brother and brother-in-law of Eileen and Donald Kramer, Phyllis and Harvey Levy, and the late Eric Veinish. He will be fondly remembered, and his sense of humour will live on in all who knew him. The family would like to thank the doctors, nurses, and staff of Oncology and Palliative Care at North York General Hospital, as well as LHIN, for their exceptional care and compassion. As per his wishes, a graveside service will be held on Friday, July 26, 2019 at 11:00 a.m. Donations in his memory may be made to Cancer Research.
