Sandy died peacefully July 6, 2019 in the Vernon Hospice, Vernon, BC. She is survived by her loving and devoted husband George, with whom she traveled the world, and lived happily at home: in Lively, Toronto, Newfoundland, Chatham, ON, and Vernon, BC. Sandy was the loved and loving daughter of Robert and Helen (Dupuis) Taylor who predeceased her. She was also predeceased by her sister, Anne (George) and two brothers, Keith (Donna) and Richard, and is survived by brothers Bob (Nellie), Jack (Marcia), Randy (Donna), and Ron (Chyeanne). Sandy will be missed by her sons and daughters-in-law: Dan and Terry of Vernon, BC and Dave and Nadine of Lively, Ontario, and her grandchildren Stephanie (Derek), Ashley (Cody) and Jamie (Tyler), and Mackenzie and Andrew, and by all her former students and everyone who knew her. At her request there will be no visitation or service, but a celebration of her life will be held in Lively, ON at a later date. Memorial donations in lieu of flowers may be made to charities of your choice, with our appreciation.
