STUART, Inez Helen (Krinke)
It is with heavy hearts that the family announces the passing of Inez Stuart (Krinke).
Inez passed away peacefully on July 26, 2019 in Mayerthorpe, Alberta, at the age of 85 years. She will be lovingly remembered by her son, Bruce (Sherry); daughter, Patricia (John); grandchildren, Ashlee (Patrick), Robert, Ariel and Easton; great-grandchildren, Alex, Shalika and Amy; brothers, Dale (Susannah), Ronnie (Shirley) and Randy (Judy); and many more nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her mother, Margaret; stepmother, Hadwik; father, Aron; sisters, Ellen, Carol (Glenn), Mary (Bud) and Frances (Dick); and brothers, Cacthl and Eldie (Marilyn).
Inez was born in Ferintosh, Alberta, and lived there until a farm fire caused the family to move to Shining Bank. Leaving school at a young age to help the family, even at age 14 she worked with her Dad, handling a saw while cutting and peeling telephone poles. Inez worked in the hospital in Edson and cooked on government bridge crews around northern Alberta before settling in Grimshaw with her husband, George Stuart. For the next twenty years, Inez kept busy working on the farm, raising children and driving a school bus. She moved to Chilliwack,
British Columbia before finally returning to Alberta to live in Whitecourt, where many extended family members still reside.
Inez took comfort in God’s Word and took great pride in her family. Fond memories of her persistent and bright spirit will abide. She will be greatly missed by family and friends.
A Celebration of Life will take place Friday, August 2 at 11:00 AM at Skyview Alliance Church, 112061 Twp. Rd. 591, Whitecourt, Alberta. Interment will follow at Shining Bank Cemetery.
