Hank Covert Murray Keizer
1946-2019
Hank Covert Murray Keizer – age 72, of Kentville, passed away
on Thursday, July 11, 2019, in the Valley Regional Hospital,
Kentville. Born in Kentville, he was the son of the late Murray and
Eileen (Jess) Keizer. Hank had been employed with the Department of
Transportation, from where he retired, after 28 years of service. He
loved watching sports on TV and was a big Toronto Blue Jays and Maple
Leafs fans. He took great delight in spending time with his family. He
is survived by his wife, Doris (Evans); daughter, Monica (Timothy)
Dorey, Greenfield, Kings County; son, Nelson (Lisa Barrett), Lower
Sackville; grandchildren, William Jordan, Amber Jordan, Matthew
Jordan; great-grandchildren, Aiden, Gabriella, Joshua and Madilyn;
sister, Doreen Corkum, Halls Habour Mountain; niece, Virginia. Besides
his parents, he was predeceased by a brother-in-law, Darryl. Cremation
has taken place. Visitation will be held from 6-8 p.m.
Monday, July 15, 2019 in the White Family Funeral Home, Kentville
where the funeral service, followed by reception, will be held at 2:00
p.m. on Tuesday, July 16, 2019, Reverend Ivan Norton officiating.
Burial will take place in the Lakeview Cemetery, Lakeville, Nova
Scotia. Family flowers only, by request. Donations in memory may be
made to Diabetes Canada or the Heart and Stroke Foundation. Funeral
arrangements have been entrusted to the White Family Funeral Home and
