Emily Chatfield Roberts (Morgan)
It is with deep sadness that the family of the late Emily Chatfield (Morgan) Roberts announces her passing. Emily passed away from the Baie Verte Peninsula Health Care Centre, Baie Verte, NL on Wednesday, July 17th, 2019 at the age of 79 years.
Emily is predeceased by her parents – Robert & Ethel Morgan; parents-in-law – Bond & Irene Roberts; siblings – James Morgan, Janet Smith (Edward), Fannie Dawe (Doug); brothers-in-law – Eldon Jacobs and Jerry Rainville.
Left to cherish a lifetime of wonderful memories is her husband of 55 years – Howard Roberts; children – Michelle Roberts and Blair Roberts (Kitty); grandchildren – Jared Roberts, Linda Sacrey (Vaden) and Melissa Strickland (Billy Davis); great-grandchildren – Austin, Kayden, Dalton and Ella; special daughter – Lois Stuckless; sisters – Mary Cox (John), Eva Allen (Wilbur), Linda Jacobs and Betty Rainville; brother-in-law – Garfield Roberts (Claudine); sister-in-law – Bonnie Morgan as well as a large circle of nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
Public Visitation will take place from Foster Funeral Home, 22 Main Street, Baie Verte, NL on Friday, July 19th, 2019 from 2:00-4:00PM and 7:00-9:00PM.
Reverend Sidney Newbury will conduct the Funeral Service from Bethany United Church, Highway 410, Baie Verte, NL on Saturday, July 20th, 2019 at 2:00PM. Interment to follow from Bethany United Cemetery, Baie Verte, NL.
As an expression of sympathy, in lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Emily’s memory to Bethany United Cemetery Fund, Baie Verte, NL.
Funeral Arrangements have been entrusted to Foster Funeral Home, 22 Main Street, Baie Verte, NL.
