Elizabeth M. «Betty» Hill
1935-2019
It is with sadness that we announce the sudden passing of Elizabeth
«Betty» Mary Hill of Somerville, NB which occurred on
Saturday, July 6, 2019 at her home. Born January 30, 1935 in
Johnville, NB she was the daughter of the late Gerard and Mary (Riley)
Denny. She was also predeceased by son, John Hill; sister, Geraldine
Denny «Deanne» and brother, Basil Denny and sister in law,
Helen Denny .
Betty is survived by her loving husband of 62 years, Ron Hill; two
children, Lesley Sanford (Dan) and Steve Hill; three grandchildren,
Rachel Sanford, Hannah Hill-Hayes and Dylan Hill; two sisters, Millie
Denny (Lance) and Carole Trafford, four brothers, David Denny, Gerald
«Dyke» Denny (Shirley), Frank Denny, Ronnie Denny (Theresa)
and sister in law, Marilyn as well as several nieces, nephews and
extended family.
Cremation has taken place. A Mass of Christian Burial will be
celebrated on Thursday, July 11, 2019 at 11:00 am from St. John The
Evangelist Church, Johnville. Fr. John Beaumaster as celebrant. The
interment will follow in the Johnville Cemetery. A reception will
follow in the church hall. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made
to the Kidney Foundation of Canada in memory of Betty.
