Elaine Frances (Unsworth) Stakiw
April 17, 1949 – July 5, 2019
With great sadness, the family of Elaine Frances (Unsworth) Stakiw announce her passing following a courageous battle with Cancer.
Elaine is lovingly remembered by her husband of 42 years, Gene (Eugene Stakiw of Ardrossan AB; sons Shaun Stakiw of Ottawa, ON,
Steven Stakiw of Ardrossan, AB and David (Mariana) Picton of Lake Country, BC; grand-daughters London Monroe Stakiw, Sienna Marie Picton and Savannah Skye Picton; father George H, Unsworth of Wetaskiwin, AB; brother James (Judy) Unsworth of Edmonton, AB; brothers/sisters-in-law Andy Kadyk of Rocky Mountain House, AB, Irene Stakiw of Saskatoon, SK, Gary (Gail) Stakiw of Regina, SK, Pat (John) Siroishka, Yvonne Philippot and Gail (Ron) Wheatley all of Calgary, AB as well as numerous nieces, nephews and extended family.
Elaine was predeceased by her sister Connie Ellen (Unsworth) Kadyk, her mother Cora Ellen (Embree) Unsworth, her father/mother-in-law Walter and Anne Stakiw, and brothers -in -law Bill Stakiw and Vic Philippot.
A celebration of Life service will be announced at a later date.
