Obituary of Catherine Lynn Day
DAY, Catherine (nee Kahgee)
June 13, 1948 ~ July 24, 2019
It is with deep sadness that our family announces the passing of Catherine in her 72nd year. Catherine will be greatly missed by her children Gene (Anna), Tanya, Ephriam and Roddy. Momma will also be lovingly remembered by her granddaughters Delian and Sarah. Her memory will also be cherished by her sister Colleen Kahgee, brothers Ephriam (Josephine) and Eugene (Cindy). Catherine will also be remembered by many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Catherine has gone to be with her beloved mother Vierra, father Edison, sisters Cheryl and Sylvia and brother-in-law Harold. Catherine was born in Sauble Beach and spent most of her adult life living in Southern Ontario, where she raised her children and finally retired back in Sauble Beach. Mom enjoyed many interests throughout her life, most notably her travels both locally and internationally with her sister Colleen. She always had some great and funny stories of all the adventures they had while travelling. We will love you forever Momma, until we meet again. Visitation will be held at 119 Millen Rd., Stoney Creek on Saturday, July 27 from 7-9pm and on Sunday, July 28 from 2-4 and 7-9pm. Funeral Service will be held on Monday, July 29 at 11am at 119 Millen Rd. Interment to follow at Mountview Gardens Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family ask that donations be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Canada. Notes of sympathy and condolence may be left at www.donaldvbrown.ca
