It is with heavy hearts we announce the passing of Brenda Lee Kinnear on Monday, July 29, 2019 at the age of 64 years.
Brenda is survived by her loving husband Doug, sons and daughters in law, Shannon (Rachelle) and Darryl (Faith) and her beloved grandchildren Alex, Nick, Ella & Caisson.
She will be sadly missed by her father, Cliff Smyth, siblings Kim (Donna ) Smyth , Lorraine (Howard) Moster and Valerie (James)Sibulak and many numerous nieces and nephews and their families.
A memorial service will be held on Thursday, August 1, 2019 at 10:00 am at Serenity Funeral Service North Chapel, 10129 Princess Elizabeth Avenue, Edmonton, Alberta.
The family would like to extend a special thanks to the wonderful staff at the University of Alberta Hospital who cared so much for Brenda during her journey with her transplant. Their encouragement and patience was uplifting to her and it kept her strength up to keep fighting. She was an amazing inspiration to many donors and recipients.
Memorial Donations in Brenda’s name can be made to the University of Alberta Foundation to the Lung Transplant Program (universityhospitalfoundation.ab.ca ).
