Blair Henry Waye
1929 – 2019
Blair Henry Waye of Trout Brook, NB, husband of the late Norma (Matchett) Waye, passed away at his residence on July 29, 2019 at the age of 90. Born in Trout Brook, NB, he was the son of the late Henry and Myrtle (Harris) Waye.
Blair was retired as a Heavy Equipment Mechanic at Heath Steele Mines. He was actively involved with the Calvary Baptist Church for more than 50 years. Blair was a neighbor to one and all and was always more than willing to lend a helping hand.
Blair is survived by two daughters: Elizabeth “Betty” Mullin (John) of Victoria, BC and Twilight “Twila” Taylor (Grant) of Lacombe, AB; three sons: William “Billy” Waye (Bonnie) of Fredericton, NB, Dean Waye of Miramichi, NB and Todd Waye (Paulette) of Lyttleton, NB; one brother: Edward Waye (Andrea) of Trout Brook, NB; one sister-in-law: Janette Waye of Fredericton, NB; nine grandchildren: Nicholas, Marisa, Jordan, Chris, Craig, Perry, Jonathan, Quenton, and Kelsie; six great grandchildren, as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
Besides his parents and his wife, Norma, Blair is predeceased by two sisters: Ruth and Joyce and one brother: Harry.
Visitation will be held at Bell’s Funeral Home, 651 King George Highway on Thursday, August 1st from 3:00 to 7:00 PM. Funeral Service will be held at the Sterling Bell Memorial Chapel on Friday, August 2nd at 2:00 PM with Pastor Chad Rozelle officiating. Burial to follow in the Wesley United Church Cemetery, Trout Brook, NB.
