Born in Keene in the Township of Otonabee South Monaghan Peterborough. Beloved husband of 67 years to the late Francis Reginald Kenneth (Frank). Beloved loving mother to Ken (Colleen), Mary Anne Follest (Ted), Stephen (Lorna), Stanley, Frank (Lynette) and Lorraine Kent (Wallace) and their extended families. Lovingly remembered by her 12 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren. Sister of Carl Carey (Bev); and the late Gerard Carey (late Luella), late Stanley Carey and late Ron Carey. Sister-in-law of LouAnn Carey, James Haar (late Jean) of Canton Michigan and the late Jerome Hoar. Predeceased by her parents George Carey and Mary (Heffernan). The family are very appreciative of the care and support received from the staff at Lakeridge Health (Whitby) 4th floor, Complex and Continuing Care during Anna’s stay there.
Visitation DUFFUS FUNERAL HOME, 431 George Street South, Peterborough from 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. on Thursday, July 25, 2019. Funeral Mass in the CATHEDRAL OF ST PETER-IN-CHAINS, Peterborough on Thursday, July 25, 2019 at 1 p.m. Interment at St. Peter’s Cemetery. A reception will follow at Bishop Doyle Knights of Columbus Hall in memory of Anna, donations to Lakeridge Health Whitby, Complex Continuing Care or the charity of your choice would be appreciated by the family.
