Sandra Barker passed away peacefully with her loving family by her side at Grey Bruce Health Services on Thursday, July 25th, 2019 at the age of 84. Beloved wife of the late Rev. Kenneth Stacey Barker for 57 years. Loving and devoted mother of Colleen Brown of Stratford, Kathleen Barker of Owen Sound and Jennifer and her husband Jay Marett of Guelph. Cherished Nana of Ashley Brown, Christian Brown, Joshua Marett and Rebecca Marett. Predeceased by her parents Alexander and Rebecca Johnstone, her sister Evelyn Crawford, her granddaughter Meagan Brown, and her son-in-law Donald Brown. Sandra Barker will be dearly missed by her nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.
A memorial service for Sandra Barker will take place at St. Andrew’s Presbyterian Church, 865 – 2nd Avenue West, Owen Sound on Tuesday, July 30th, 2019 at 2:00 pm.
As an expression of sympathy in lieu of flowers, donations to St. Andrew’s Presbyterian Church, or the Residential Hospice of Grey Bruce would be appreciated by the family.
