Robina’s Obituary
It is with heavy hearts that the families of Robina (Stanley) Raike nee Cooper, announce her sudden passing at her family residence on Tuesday, June 18th, 2019, at the age of 72 years.
Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories her daughters; Amanda (Mark) Specker of Deer Lake, NL, and Nicole (Michael) White of Corner Brook, NL, her siblings; Ron (Marie) Cooper of Mississauga, ON, Barry (Cheryl) Cooper of Ft. MacMurray, AB, Gaveen (Ivan) Ball of Kitimat, and Shelia (Dave) Masters of St. John’s, NL, her sister-in-law; Bev Cooper of Deer Lake, NL,, and God child; Shawn Cooper of Mississauga, ON, Robina was predeceased by her husband; Cecil Raike, her parents; Marjorie and Garfield Cooper, brother; Bruce, sisters; Wavy, and Regina, and son-in-law; Trevor Ball. Also leaving to mourn a large circle of nieces, nephews, other relatives, extended family and friends.
The family will be receiving family and friends at Parsons Funeral Home & Chapel 63 North Main Street, Deer Lake, NL, on Friday, June 21st, 2019, from the hours of 2-4 & 7-9 pm.
The funeral service will take place on Saturday, June 22nd, 2019 at 2:00 pm, from the Salvation Army Citadel, in Deer Lake, NL, with Major Frederick & Louise Pond officiating with the burial to follow at the family plot of the Deer Lake Interdenominational Cemetery on Wight’s Road, Deer Lake, NL.
Flowers and or donations can be made to a charity of one’s choice in Robina’s memory would be graciously appreciated by the families.
