Obituary for Patricia Hodgetts
Died peacefully at her home, with her family by her side, on Monday, June 3, 2019. Born in Sunderland, England, Patricia “Trish” Hodgetts (nee Ramsey), of Petrolia was in her 79th year. She will be missed by her husband of 55 years Dr. Stephen Hodgetts. She was a loving “Mum” to Philip Hodgetts, Clare (Clare) Hyatt, Ursula (Stephen) Heisler , and Rachael (Rick) Claro. She was a “Nana” and “Grammie” to her grandchildren and great grandchildren Daniel (Samantha) Hyatt and their children, Liam, Eleanor, and Alice, Jacob (Callie) Hyatt and their children Linley and Harrison, and Christopher (Ann) Hyatt and their children Greyden and Isabelle, Joshua (Christine) Heisler and their children Logan and Hadley, Danielle (Kurt) Heisler, Jordan (Kirsten) Heisler and their daughter Sophie, Dominic Claro, and Lucas Claro. She will also be missed by her brother Anthony Ramsey and her sister Diane (John) Kennerley. She trained as nurse in England before moving to Canada and worked with her husband in his medical practice in Petrolia. Her sassy sense of humor and her quick smile will be greatly missed by all who knew her. A private service will be held a later date. Interment will be in Hillsdale Cemetery, Petrolia.
