1936-2019
Passed peacefully away at the L.A. Miller Centre Palliative
Care Unit on June 19, 2019 Michael Joseph Careen age 83
years.
Predeceased by his parents Frank and Mary Careen,
parents-in-law Ronald and Elizabeth Barker, and darling grandson
Stephen Myles Careen.
Michael leaves to mourn wife Marie, son Stephen (Renee) and
daughter Michelle Fitzgerald (John); Grandchildren Blake (Nicole),
Sydney, Coady, Colin and Sara. Also leaving to mourn are sisters Betty
Fletcher (Robert – deceased) and Eleanor Adair (Jim); in
laws of the Barker Family; special friends Con and Mary
Picco, Eugene and Betty Meaney and many special friends and family of
Pt. Lance. Last, but not least, his furry little best friend
Coco.
Special thanks to his caregiver Joni Penny, Dr. Hurley and
the amazing staff of the Palliative Care unit for the extraordinary
care given to Michael.
Resting at Mary Queen of Peace Church, Pt. Lance, S.M.B on
Friday, June 21 @ 2 p.m., with Mass of Christian Burial to take place
at 2 p.m. Saturday, June 22, 2019. Interment to follow Roman
Catholic Cemetery, Pt. Lance.
