Mel Heittola, beloved husband of Lorraine Heittola.
Dear dad of Steve Heittola (Paula) and Corinne Jolliffe (Mike).
Proud papa of grandchildren Brock Jolliffe (Tracy), Christopher Heittola (Emily), Jessica Heittola and great grandchildren Landen and Maddisen Jolliffe.
Predeceased by brother Ted Heittola and sister Irene Cooper.
Fondly remembered by his nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.
Family will receive visitors at Chalmers United Church on Ottawa Avenue in South River on Tuesday June 11, 2019 from 6-8 P.M. and on Wednesday June 12, 2019 from 11 A.M. – 12 P.M.
A service to celebrate the life of the late Mr. Mel Heittola will follow in the church on Wednesday June 12, 2019 at 12:00 P.M. with Reverend Susan Peverley officiating.
Interment at the Bow’s Cemetery in Machar Township.
If desired, memorial donations to the North Bay Regional Health Centre Foundation – Wish Program would be sincerely appreciated by the family.
Arrangements have been entrusted to the Opatovsky Funeral Home – Moore Chapel, 9 Paget Street in Sundridge.
