LAL, Mahinder Behari
It is with great sadness that the family of Mahinder Behari Lal announces his passing, with his family by his side, on Tuesday, June 18, 2019, at the age of 71 years.
Born in New Delhi, Mahinder attended the IIT Delhi, graduated with a degree in electrical engineering. He lived in Delhi, Mumbai, Abu Dhabi, Toronto, Ottawa and Newmarket. He was very fond of cards and was a bridge aficionado. He loved travelling the world which he did through work as well as with family and friends.
Mahinder was preceded in death by his loving wife of 25 years, Teena Lal. He will be fondly remembered and greatly missed by his children, Akshay (Valérie) and Abhinav (Purva), his three grandchildren, Maëlie, Aarav and Avinash, his sisters, Vinita (Virender) Mathur, Veenu (the late Deepak) Mathur and by his brother Atul (Deepa). Mahinder will also be forever remembered by his numerous nieces, nephews and extended family and dear friends.
A Funeral Service in memory of Mahinder will be held at the Chapel Ridge Funeral Home & Cremation Centre, 8911 Woodbine Ave, Markham, on Tuesday, June 25, 2019.
Visitation/Service: 11:30 a.m – 1:30 p.m.
Cremation: 2 p.m.
In lieu of sending flowers, those who so desire may make donations in memory of Mahinder to the charity of their choice.
