It is with heavy hearts that the family of Leo Edward Carr announce his passing after a short stay at White Rapids Manor on Friday June 21, 2019 at the age of 81.
Leo is survived by his wife of 54 years Judy (Hasson) Carr, two daughters Michelle (Daniel) Moore and Sherri (Francis) Castonguay. Grandchildren Judson Moore, Brittany Arsenault, Tiffany, Ryan and Rebecca Moore. Evan and Connor Castonguay. One Great Grandson Cameron Arsenault. Siblings Donald (Pansy) Carr and Cheryl (Greg) Bruns. Several nieces and nephews. Two boys came into Leo’s life and he enjoyed watching them grow up, Duane and Dennis, Leo loved you both.
Leo was predeceased by his parents Temple and Frances Carr and an infant brother David.
Leo worked as a burner mechanic and a machinist, but long-haul trucking was his passion. He saw a lot of the world through his windshield. He travelled a lot of miles and could remember places and highways vividly.
Leo enjoyed Friday Night hockey games at Tri-County Complex and he especially loved watching his grandsons play. He went for coffee every morning with friends to try and solve the world’s problems.
There will be no visitation as per Leo’s request. A private committal service will be held at St. Luke’s Cemetery at a later date.
Arrangements are in the Professional Care of Sunbury Funeral Home, Central Blissville, NB (368-2413). sunburyfuneralhome.com
