Kevin Shaun Healy
Born November 8, 1939.
It is with heavy hearts we announce the passing of Kevin on June 11th 2019. He was born in Wales and grew up in London during WWII. In his teens he immigrated to Canada with his parents and started his new life as a trade stone mason in Toronto. Here he met his life time love of 56 years Dianne. They then moved to the west coast in 1968 to pursue new opportunities in his trade. He made a career change in 1975 and joined Canada Post where he progressed to a postal official before retiring in 1999. This allowed him to embrace his passion and artistry in stone carving. Here he excelled with much success and notoriety. Kevin is pre-deceased by his parents Bill and Sarah Healy, brothers Dennis and Colin and recently his son Shaun Healy. He is survived by his wife Dianne, sisters Eileen Danberger, Shiela Taillefer, brother Brian daughter Tammy Strangward (Doug), son Shan, and daughter-in-law, Kim Parker, grandchildren: Shane (Laura), Jesse, Jamie and Alexandra, great-granddaughter Reidun as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
Services will be held 11 am June 22nd at Maple Ridge funeral Chapel. In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to a charity of your choice, in Kevin’s name.
