Johanna (Nan) Henderson Lawson
1920-2019
Surrounded by her family, at the W. G. Bishop Nursing Home on June 10,
Johanna (Nan) Henderson (nee Farrell) Lawson, wife of the late George
Lawson, passed away at the age of 98 years.
She was the daughter of the late Jean (nee Beattie) Harry
Farrell.
She will be sadly missed by her grandchildren, Nancy (Derrick), George
(Elvina), Karen (Tim); great grandchildren, Rhonda, Katie (Dan),
Shelby (Bruce), Emma (Curtis), Carrie (Jacob), Alex and Terry; great
great grand children, Kasey, Logan and Jackson; her sister, Lanore
Targett; son-in- law, Tom Kelley; as well as many nieces, nephews,
good friends.
In addition to her husband and parents she was predeceased by her son,
Kenneth Lawson, her daughter, Margaret Kelley; daughter-in-law, Jean
Lawson; siblings, Malcom Farrell, Christina Thompson, Margaret Cusack
and Jackie Farrell.
The family would like to extend there thanks to the W. G. Bishop
Nursing Home staff for the excellent care compassion and kindness
shown to Nan and the family during the past two years. You truly are
wonderful people and she loved each and everyone of you.
Resting at Hogg Funeral Services (10 King Street, Minto) with
visitation on Thursday morning 10AM … 12 Noon. Funeral Service
will take place Thursday, 2:00PM June 13, 2019 from Trinity United
Church. Interment will take place in Wallbridge Cemetery. For those
who wish, donations made to the Trinity United Church would be
appreciated by the family.
Reception to be held 12:00 noon until 1:00PM before Funeral.
