Evelyn Fjeld
October 16, 1928 – May 31, 2019
On Friday May 31, 2019 Evelyn Fjeld passed away peacefully at Jubilee Lodge in Kinistino, SK. She was born in Birch Hills and raised in Iranistan, where she later worked in her brother-in-law (Reider Sundbo) Country store.
She met Andrew Fjeld and they married October of 1948. They lived and formed their entire married life in the Stanleyville District east of Prince Albert, until Andrews passing when Evelyn moved into P.A.
Even though Evelyn had no children of her own, she treasured her relationships with her nieces and nephews. Evelyn loved to bake and spent many hours making Kumla with her sister-in-law Eileen.
She is survived by her brother: Lester; her sisters-in-law: Eileen and Linda; as well as numerous nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews.
Evelyn was predeceased by her husband: Andrew; her parents: Charlie and Ovidia Hunt; her brothers: Floyd, Vern and Stanley; her sisters: Elva Sundbo, Ilah Welch and Mirrel Sundbo; her brothers-in-law: Oscar & Reider Sundbo and Fred Welch; and her sisters-in-law: Annie and Joyce Hunt.
The family would like to thank Jubilee Lodge for the great care she received.
A Visitation will take place on Tuesday June 4, 2019 at 7:00PM in Prince Albert at MacKenzie Funeral Chapel. A celebration of Evelyn’s life will be a graveside service, held at the Winton Cemetery on Wednesday June 5, 2019 at 11:00AM. Lunch to follow at the Legion in Prince Albert, SK at 1:00PM.
