Eldon Virton Goodfellow of Chesley, passed away suddenly after a brief illness at Grey Bruce Health Services, Owen Sound on Saturday, June 22, 2019 in his 89th year.
Loving father of Sandra (Darrell) Mountain of R.R. #3 Durham, Cheryl Champagne of Mildmay, Susan (Doug) Lorenz of R.R. #2 Elmwood and Rob (Charlene) Goodfellow of Alma. Papa will be dearly missed by his grandchildren: Brandon (Kristen), Rochelle Mountain; Chad (Michelle), Andrew (Sara) Lomas; Melissa (Josh) Spencer, Nicole (Jeff) Lembke; Mackenzie and Cole Goodfellow as well as his great-grandchildren Brianne, Abigail, Allie, Madison, Olivia, Kaleb and Noah. Eldon will be fondly remembered by his brother Mervyn (Donna) Goodfellow and brothers-in-law Raymond (Verona) and Ken (Gayle) Schoeneweiss, all of Owen Sound. He was predeceased by his wife Marilyn, grandson Brent, siblings Shirley Esplen, Melba Woods, Wayne Goodfellow and his parents Virton and Beatrice (Wilkens) Goodfellow.
Private family services will be held with inurnment to follow in Chesley Cemetery.
Memorial donations to Chesley Hospital Foundation would be appreciated as expressions of sympathy.
