Ray, Dorothy May (nee Howes)
May 8, 1928 – June 10, 2019
After an extended period of illness at the Elisabeth Bruyère Residence, Ottawa on Monday, June 10, 2019. Dorothy passed away peacefully in her 92nd year. Dorothy was predeceased by her husband Lee. Loving mother of Brian (Martin) of Ottawa. Dear sister of Bessie McAllister (late Donald) of Elmira, Jean Elliot (late Robert) of Napanee and the late Margaret Wagar and Kenneth Howes. Also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and friends. Dorothy was a ferocious sports fan, who enjoyed many years playing golf and curling. The family wishes to thank the Résidence Elisabeth Bruyère for extraordinary care. Cremation has taken place. An interment service will occur at Victoria Cemetery in Plainfield, Ontario on June 25th at 1:30pm. Donations may be made in Dorothy’s memory to the Bruyère Foundation or the Ten Oaks Project.
