1939-2019
With heavy hearts, we announce the sudden passing of our dear father, grandfather and brother on Tuesday June 11, 2019.
Predeceased by his wife and best friend Marilynn (nee Beattie – 2016).
He will be deeply missed by his loving daughters Cathy Formica (Mario) and Debbie Corey. Proud Grandfather to Cameron (Jessica), Dylan (Sarah), Dustin, Matthew (Rachel) and Sarah. Dear brother to Ken Carey (Louise) and brother in law of Bill Beattie (Karen) and Ross Beattie (Linda). Also survived by nieces and nephews.
Don was a CPA owning several businesses during his career, but his passion was farming. He planted his last field with a big smile on his face on Saturday June 8. We are so thankful for our many family vacation memories.
Friends may call at the Ayr Chapel, Wm. Kipp Funeral Home, 183 Northumberland St Ayr, on Thursday June 13, 2019 from 7-9 PM.
A private family service will be held on Friday in the funeral home chapel
In lieu of flowers, donations to St. Mary’s General Hospital or Woodstock General Hospital would be appreciated.
