Obituary for
Arleen Miko
After a lengthy battle with illness, it is with great sadness we announce the peaceful passing of Arleen Claire Miko at Health Sciences North in Sudbury at the age of 82 years. She was predeceased by her husband Stephen and her parents Florence and James Wilson. She will be sadly missed by her son, Mark and daughter, Tracy (husband Kevin Noble), and grand kitten, Dexter.
A great big thank you goes out to the nurses and support staff on 4 North for the amazing care, kindness and love shown to mom. A heartfelt thank you to Rhonda from pastoral care who was always there to lend support during mom’s final journey. More thanks go out to the nurses and support staff from Bayshore for taking such wonderful care of mom, to Dr. Richardson and the whole Family Health team and to Dr. Petrie and staff at the Northeast Cancer Centre
A very special thank you to Liz Chorkawy. You were the best friend mom could ever ask for and she enjoyed every minute spent with you. Her face would light up when you were with her and you gave her so many good memories.
A private graveside service will be held.
In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Arleen can be made to the Ontario SPCA, Maison McCulloch Hospice or the Northeast Cancer Centre Foundation.
